Heart's Pasture Farm Potato CSA

A potato with humble beginnings meets an extravagant end on your next dinner plate. We hope to share our love for potatoes with you as you consider supporting a small, family farm rooted in health and homesteading independence. ​

One Potato, Two Potato (By the Numbers)

  • The CSA will last 5 months.
  • You will find at least 2 potato varieties depending on the size of the box.
  • As you consider how many potatoes you will eat this fall and winter, keep in mind the average person eats 120 pounds of potatoes per year.
  • Although it is difficult to recommend quantities, 1.5 pounds of potatoes will usually serve four people.
  • A  12 pound CSA box provides 32 servings of 6 ounces each, or 8 meals per month for a family of four.

Potato-Potahto (The Details)

  • All orders (local pickup and shipping) will be filled once per month. The harvest days each month will vary and are based on the biodynamic calendar and weather forecast. More exact details on the pickup/shipping schedule will be emailed.
  • Shipped orders will be sent via USPS priority mail.
  • We will make sure you receive your potatoes in time to enjoy them during the holidays.
  • CSA members gain access to a member-only page that consists of potato descriptions, recipes, and more.​
